Following the initiative of leading cinema integrators recognized for their professionalism, CINE
DIGITAL (France), KELONIK GROUP (Spain) and CINE PROJECT (Germany), UNITIA, the United Theater
Integrators Association, was founded in June 2015, to bring to cinema exhibitors the guarantee
of working with highly skilled, experienced and recognized companies.
With over 50 years of experience and know-how the three founding members have an
unprecedented technological expertise of the projection booth ecosystem.
In addition to promoting the fundamental values of the integration profession and thanks to the
synergies generated, the technical cooperation boosts an alternative offer addressed to exhibitors
willing to keep their autonomy from an increasingly concentrated and globalized technological offer.
Today, UNITIA gathers 12 leading historical cinema integrators operating in 25+ countries and servicing 11,000+ digital screens.

Seminar #7
Due to the world-wide Covid-19 situation, the 7th seminar of UNITIA was held as “on-line” seminar in November 2020. 35 delegates from 12 countries followed the presentations and discussions and actively participated in the forum. Various manufacturers informed about new products, business models and strategies in these difficult times for the cinema.
UNITIA nominates new President during Seminar#6 in Landshut
During the annual seminar in November 2019, UNITIA announced the nomination of the new President, Tomas Naranjo, Managing Director of Kelonik (Spain). More than 30 participants from 12 countries were welcomed at the Landshut headquarters of CINE PROJECT. Good discussions and fun on UNITIA booth at CINE EUROPE 2019 in Barcelona
With the Pod of ICE (Immersive Cinema Experience) and the MX4D Motion EFX VR Pod (cinema lobby experience), we had two major attractions on the UNITIA booth this year. Visitors were excited by the experience – and of course had good discussions with our members, as well.
Seminar #5 in Barcelona
The latest meeting of the UNITIA members was held in Barcelona in November 2018. More than 30 delegates from 12 member companies discussed about current and future challenges in the cinema industry.

In the run-up of CineEurope, UNITIA welcomes two new members. Audio Visuelt Centrum A/S (AVC) is the leading cinema integrator in Denmark. Kinoprokat Group is one of the leading integrators in Ukraine. Download the press release here.
New president
Also during the fourth seminar in November 2017, the presidency of the group was handed over to Franz Kober of CINE PROJECT, who will represent UNITIA for the next two years. Download press release Press_Release_Unitia_2017_1
New members : Delta Bilgi & Art Sound K

Seminar #4 in Paris
In November 2017 the UNITIA members met in Paris. The main focus of the fourth seminar was how to meet future challenges in a quickly developing cinema market. With more than 30 delegates from 10 member companies and several interesting guests it was the largest meeting held so far.
Seminar #3 in Berlin
The third seminar – hosted by CINE PROJECT – was held in late November 2016 at the famous Zoopalast in Berlin.
